Keith Butler founded "The Detroit Boys" in 2013. This initiative is aimed at mentoring young boys, with the hope of healing the community through leadership and training. Keith's commitment to sowing the seeds of hope and empowerment throughout Detroit is unwavering, and The Detroit Boys provides him with the opportunity to fulfill this mission. With compassion as his guiding principle, Keith is determined to create a legacy of unity, hope, and boundless possibilities for the vibrant streets of Detroit.

We aim to address the challenges which include low graduation rates, high youth incarceration rates, and limited access to quality programming in sports, coding, life skills, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, the arts, and community engagement.
